Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine effectively work for female infertility

Studies show that Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine effectively work for female infertility:

Studies have shown that Chinese herbal medicine is effective in cases of female infertility. Additionally it has also been shown to have a positive effect on pregnancy rates. One study conducted a systematic review by consolidating many abstracts from research databases to see TCM’s effect on infertility.

The review concluded that Chinese Herbal Medicine used to treat female infertility can improve pregnancy rates 2-fold within a 4 month period compared with Western Medicine fertility drug therapy or IVF. Additionally, the quality of the menstrual cycle, which is integral to TCM diagnosis, appears to be fundamental to successful treatment of female infertility. (Source).

Pregnant after 12 years of marriage and infertility treatments| Acupuncture of Dallas

Dr. Lin Zhou was a blessing to my family! My husband and I were trying to have a baby for the past 12 years. Due to my PCOS and his low sperm count issue our attempts were never successful. After two failed IUI in India we moved to Dallas, hoping for a better treatment.

As I turned 37 and after 12 years of marriage we decided to go for IVF, considering our continues failed attempts and age factor 🙁

At the same time, I was concerned about the side effects of hormone injections and medicines. While I was looking for treatments to complement IVF,  I came across Dr. Lin Zhou’s reproductive acupuncture treatment. I read positive reviews about her and decided to take acupuncture with Dr. Zhou as she has wide knowledge in the field and experience.

My husband and I started our treatment during July 2016 and to our great surprise I conceived the same month but it didn’t last more than 7 weeks. We commenced the treatment after a gap of 2 months. Dr. Zhou calculated my ovulation and asked me to chart my temperature. Once a week of  acupuncture treatments, her herbal medicines and ovulation tracking helped me to get pregnant in November 2016. By God’s Grace I delivered a healthy girl baby in August 2017! I have no words to describe how grateful I am to Dr. Zhou. She helped our 12 years of prayer to come true with her magical touch and concern during the consultation . I highly recommend Dr. Zhou for infertility treatments and she will always be in my prayers and memory!

Infertility, IVF Support

A new study conducted that shows Acupuncture can assist IVF|Acupuncture of Dallas

A recent study done by Dr. Hana Visnova at her clinic where she logged data from three years of IVF cycles, involving thousands of patients. The study found that there was an increased pregnancy rate–66% compared to 60% in those who used Acupuncture immediately before and after embryo implantation and those who didn’t.(Source)

Acupuncture is used before embryo implantation because it can increase blood flow to the uterus. This also makes the lining of the uterus itself more receptive to the embryo when it’s transferred which aids implantation during IVF.

Also, acupuncture has been proven to help with stress, and undergoing IVF can be a stressful time. When the body is overwhelmed with stress, it goes into “fight or flight mode” which is not good for reproductive health. So, by reducing your stress levels, acupuncture can help your body react better to IVF.

So, if you are about to undergo an IVF cycle or currently in one and are interested in Acupuncture for IVF support please give us a call at 972-671-6688 or email us in the contact form on the sidebar.
